There are many definitions of a 72 hour kit, from a #5 can or a five gallon bucket, to an entire pickup load. My wife and I prepared ours to fit into a backpack that is always loaded and ready to go. Others are here and here. You can buy them pre-assembled or build your own....I reccommend that.
